We had the most wonderful time at Briars Hut. We didn’t want to leave. The space was clean, comfortable and homely. The hosts were charming and nothing was too much trouble. I loved how proactive Alison was, in helping us with the hot tub while we were out and about. I am addicted to this beautiful place and will most definitely be back. Came for a relaxing birthday and got engaged here. It’s the perfect space. The hosts have definitely carved out a little slice of heaven for their guests and we are grateful to them for this. See you soon! If you’re on the fence, don’t be. Briars Hut is a must visit!

Our 3rd visit and the shepherd's hut is magical with some amazing facilities outside. We've been in spring and late autumn and it's such a cosy place to stay. Thanks to Alison & Ian (hosts) who make everything just right.

Such a lovely place. Very cosy and comfortable. Favourite moment, enjoying some fizz in the hot tub in the morning whilst the birds enjoyed a feed a few years away. Our dog Peaches was very happy and content too. One of the best breaks we’ve had! Can’t miss.

We loved our stay in the Shepherds Hut. The quality and attention to detail set it apart from any other Hut we have stayed in. We could happily have stayed a week instead of just two nights. Thank you so much 👍
